Nationally acclaimed cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan had directed a periodic movie in Malayalam titled Urumi which deals with the time Vasco da Gama invaded India and the resistance offered by Indians against his atrocities.
SVR Media bagged the Telugu dubbing rights of the film. The Telugu version will hit the screens worldwide on August 11th.
Prithviraj and Genelia play the lead roles, while Prabhu Deva, Arya, Vidya Balan, Tabu, Nithya Menon, Jagathy, Amole Gupte, Chandan Roy, Sanyal and others are part of the cast.
