INTRO:

While the huge-budgets are flunking in the market, the Tollywood is now witnessing a slew of low-budgets trying to test their luck. Nenu Naanna Abaddham is one of those. The film launches Arundhati fame Divya Nagesh as heroine. Having won Nandi Award for Best Child Actress for her maiden attempt in tinsel town, Divya is naturally enveloped with expectations now. Does she pull through, let’s see…

PERFORMANCES:

Hero Nandu tries really hard to put up an adequate show. He is quite artificial in performing and needs lot to improve on looks, expressions and dialogue delivery; last but not least, dancing abilities. Arundhati girl Divya Nagesh is pathetic. Her skin tone is awful and so are her close-up shots. She might have done a great job as a child artiste in the Anushka-starrer, but here, she is terrible and definitely not a heroine material. Krishna Bhagavan is not good enough in making us laugh, while I don’t the rationale behind including Dharmavarapu’s track. Krishnudu is shown in the bad light. Rest of the characters is not even worth mentioning.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS:

Cinematography falls below the standards. Well, no frame is worth talking about. Story is too bad and has been part of most of the films released in the past. Screenplay is the worst in the recent times. Editing too is horrible. However, Chinni Krishna’s music is okay. Background sounded good in parts. Direction isn’t up to the mark as well.

PLUS-POINTS:

Nothing to cite in particular

MINUS-POINTS:

All the 24 crafts and the actors

ANALYSIS:

Heights of making blunders, the movie has nothing to admire, but offers opportunities galore for you to nitpick. The comedy tracks get on your nerves rather tickling your funny bones. Dialogues drive you mad and characters haunt you. Krishnudu makes an entry with a powerful fight towards the interval point and is at his worst till date. While the act-one turns you off, the act-two gets even more stupid. Emotional scenes are frustrating, actors are artificial, songs are not hummable and background music adds fuel to the fire. Thus, the list of flaws goes endless. In all, it’s the nastiest thing happened to Telugu film industry till now.

VERDICT:

After the painstaking efforts I had put in to watch this about two hours-long flick, all I’m blessed with is sympathy for me. It’s the worst of production values one can make and all the 24 crafts failed utterly in delivering the duties. The film has no sense and is hogwash. It speaks in volumes about how a routine subject goes awry because of worst handling. I won’t mind calling it as a black mark in the history of Tollywood. I sincerely request makers not to attempt such ventures that compromise the quality of film-making!

MY WORD:

Nenu Naana Abaddham is a nightmare!

Nenu Naanna Abaddham Movie Rating: 2/5
