Ace director Maniratnam’s next movie will come on to floors from October. The movie is a soft romantic love story and Karthik’s son Gautham is debuting as the hero with this movie. It is being reported that Santosh Shivan and A.R.Rahman have been roped in to handle the cinematography and music departments. Both these maestros share a good rapport with Mani Ratnam and this combination has worked out very well in the past.
Several names are being heard regarding the heroine but no formal announcement has been made yet. The movie will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and will be dubbed into Hindi later.
Let us hope that Maniratnam comes out of the disappointment of ‘Ravan’ and gets ready with a magical entertainer like he used to in the past
