Salman Khan did the film Ready in Hindi- the film was super hit in Telugu and Hindi. The original foilm was directed by Sreenu Vytla. Bollywood hero Salman who is impressed with Vytla ready asked Vytla to direct a film for him. Vytla narrated the story of Dookudu to Salman and Salman who is imprssed with the story asked him to come to Mumbai to direct the film in Hindi.
