Karthi as Malligadu
Tamil actor Suriya’s brother Karthi, who has already impressed Telugu audience with films like Yuganiki Okkadu, Aawara and Naa Peru Shiva, is all set to strike again with another dubbed film. Karthi’s debut film Paruthi Veeran is being dubbed in Telugu as Malligadu.
Paruthi Veeran was a blockbuster in Tamilnadu. It went on to run for 365 days in theaters. Priyamani played the heroine role. This is the role that fetched her National Award as the best actress. Paruthi Veeran was directed by Ameer, who is now one of the frontline directors of Tamil cinema.
Karthi plays a rural Tamil guy character in this movie, which was a realistic love story set in rustic Madhurai backdrop. Climax of this film is heartbreaking and most talked about.
